Aiming For Progress

The winter season is starting up for the Notre Dame archery team, and they are looking to come out with “guns” blazing, with goals to head to state through strong performances within the season.

“Our main goal is definitely to head to state, hopefully in both target and 3D shooting,” said Coach Mary Beth Green. “We would like to compete at multiple events besides the main tournament, as well.”

The archery team is aiming for progress in each player this year.

“We would like to see increasing scores for every player as we progress throughout the season, showing everyone’s improvement,” Green explained. “We also want to see good competition between all of the players

Coach Green has many components that she enjoys about archery, and many of them connect with her coaching ability.

“I enjoy helping each of the players hone their skills, and hearing the funny inside jokes that the team comes up with,” Green shared.

The archery team has big aspirations for the season, and they will get to show off their skills in upcoming meets, which they have been practicing for since the beginning of the school year.
