February Student of the Month

Notre Dame’s Student of the Month program is shining a spotlight on Apostolic Leadership—recognizing students who live out service, charity, piety, faithfulness, leadership and humility in their daily lives. We are proud to celebrate these students for the many ways they bring our mission to life through their actions!

During a recent group book-sharing activity, Rigoberto Gonzalez demonstrated exceptional kindness and leadership. Noticing that another student in his group was reluctant to speak, Rigo immediately stepped in to help. He thoughtfully offered the student a pen and paper and gently asked questions, using the student’s book to help guide the conversation. His patience and awareness created a welcoming space for a classmate who may have otherwise remained on the sidelines. Rigo consistently contributes to class discussions and quietly supports others whenever he sees a need. Though he does not seek attention, his intelligence, compassion, and steady presence make a meaningful impact.

Jack Rone demonstrates remarkable piety and faithfulness through his daily commitment to prayer. After eating lunch each day, he chooses to spend time in the chapel in quiet prayer and worship.

After a snow and ice event last month, Mrs. Seyer was unable to navigate her driveway safely. Without being asked, Chase Lawson took it upon himself to shovel the snow and clear the ice so she could make it to school. His initiative and thoughtfulness ensured that she was able to be present for the school day, directly impacting our school community. What makes his act even more meaningful is that Chase is not currently in Mrs. Seyer’s class. His kindness was freely given.

Rachel Noyes demonstrated true service and charity by helping a classmate stay on track after an absence. She willingly shared information about assignments, quizzes, and needed materials, making sure nothing was missed.

Camila Keller consistently goes out of her way to make others feel welcomed and accepted. She is attentive to the needs around her and responds with compassion and initiative whenever she sees an opportunity to help. A thoughtful problem solver, Camila not only supports others in the moment but also encourages them to grow in their own strengths and skills.

Alyssa Enderle has naturally stepped into the role of an unofficial student ambassador, willingly helping with tours and shadow days whenever needed. She serves with genuine excitement and joy, eager to share her love of ND with prospective students and families. Her warmth and enthusiasm help create an atmosphere where others feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

Thank you to The Bank of Missouri for sponsoring our Student of the Month program.
