Hello Freshman Families!

Below are some important announcements and information for your first week as a Bulldog!

Freshman orientation will be Tuesday, August 19, and the freshman retreat will be Wednesday, August 20, beginning at 7:57 a.m. both days. Freshmen should be in dress code on both days. Students should bring backpacks, a notebook, pen or pencil, and covers for their textbooks. Book covers can be purchased in the Media Center for $2 each. Additional information about school supplies will be provided by each individual teacher during the first week of school.

Students can put money on their lunch accounts during orientation or any school day before homeroom in the cafeteria. Families can manage their accounts through the Blackbaud resource board.

Here's are few reminders of the first few days:

Sunday, August 17
Mandatory All-School Town Hall meeting in Main Gym at 6:00 p.m. This is a parent only event (one parent must attend & sign attendance sheet).

Tuesday, August 19
Freshmen will be greeted as a class in the morning and will have the opportunity to walk through their schedules going to each class to meet their teachers, and set up their email and portal account. With help from the senior class, they will go to the Media Center and receive their books and then set up their lockers and practice their locker combinations. Cheekwood will be here to take pictures and orders will be placed online, click here for information. The seniors and faculty will host a luncheon for the freshmen. Dismissal will be at 2:00 p.m. If your child is using their personal Chromebook, they need to bring them on Tuesday, fully charged. Students that are leasing their Chromebook will receive them in homeroom on Tuesday.

Wednesday, August 20
This is the Freshman Retreat Day. The Theology Department hosts the morning retreat and will conclude with their first class Mass. As part of the Freshman Retreat, we will be collecting diapers sizes newborn, three and four for our local agencies for pregnant women. School will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. No lunch will be provided.

Thursday, August 21
We welcome all students! Dismissal will be at 2:00 p.m.

Friday, August 22
This will also be an early dismissal at 2:00 p.m.

38th Annual Freshman-Senior Lock-In! Freshman students should be dropped off between 7:00-7:30 pm in the front parking lot. More information will be provided about Lock-In details during Orientation. There is a freshman parent meeting at 7:30 pm in Drury Hall to go over the significance of Lock-In and a run through of the night's events. Students will need to be picked up at 5:00 a.m. from Lock-In by a parent or guardian.
