SADD Club to Sponsor Red Ribbon Week at ND

The Notre Dame Students Against Destruction Decisions (SADD) club is hosting Red Ribbon Week activities the week of October 27 to promote drug, tobacco and violence prevention. This year's theme is "life is a puzzle, solve it drug free."

Monday, October 27
Each student will receive a Red Ribbon Week bracelet in homeroom. SADD club members will hand out the bracelets during homeroom. Students should wear the bracelet each day for a chance to win prizes. Students can also play Drug Prevention Bingo during lunch for a chance to win fantastic prizes!

Tuesday, October 28
SADD will have a table at both lunches with alcohol and marijuana goggles. Students who participate can put their name in a drawing for fabulous prizes.

Wednesday, October 29
SADD club members will pass out candy with an anti-drug slogan during 8th hour. The slogan is “don’t get twisted on drugs” and will be taped to Twizzlers. Check out the Red Ribbon Week bulletin board in the 500 wing on Wednesday!

Thursday, October 30
SADD club members will conduct homeroom tallies in the morning to see which homeroom has the highest number of students wearing their Red Ribbon Week Bracelets. The winning homeroom will receive a dress down day and donuts on Monday, November 3!
