January Students of the Month

Notre Dame’s Student of the Month program is shining a spotlight on Apostolic Leadership—recognizing students who live out service, charity, piety, faithfulness, leadership and humility in their daily lives. We are proud to celebrate these students for the many ways they bring our mission to life through their actions!

Jon Paul Thompson consistently seeks to deepen his relationship with Christ by thoughtfully reflecting on Scripture and class discussions, then putting those lessons into action. He lives out his faith in quiet, everyday ways, doing kind things behind the scenes that positively shape the classroom environment and strengthen the sophomore class.

Lance Hinkebein voluntarily stayed after school to help a teacher prepare materials for an Advanced Chemistry lab, even though it was not for his class. He recognized the need, offered his time without being asked, and used his experience to help ensure the work was completed.

Harper Raffety helps tutor others in Chemistry, taking time to explain worksheets so the material is better understood and offering her help with generosity and patience.

Lucy Ripperda regularly offers guidance to other students, helping them plan ahead and choose classes when they feel uncertain, always doing so with kindness and support.

Jill Kester regularly brightens others’ days through thoughtful gestures, meaningful gifts, and encouraging messages, doing so quietly without seeking recognition.

Thank you to The Bank of Missouri for sponsoring our Student of the Month program.
