Welcome Class of 2026!

Hello Freshman Families!

We are looking forward to meeting our newest Bulldogs! Below are some important announcements and information for your first week as a Bulldog! Please note that Freshman Orientation will be Tuesday, August 23, and Wednesday, August 24, beginning at 7:57 a.m. BOTH days. Freshmen should be in dress code on orientation days. Students can bring backpacks and covers for textbooks (book covers can also be purchased in the library for $2 each).Here are a few reminders for the first few days:

Sunday, August 21
Mandatory All-School Town Hall meeting in the main gym at 6:00 p.m. This is a parent only event (one parent must attend & sign attendance sheet).

Tuesday, August 23
Freshmen will be greeted as a class in the morning and will have the opportunity to walk through their schedules to go to each class to meet their teachers. With help from the seniors, they will go to the media center and receive their textbooks, and then set up their lockers and practice their locker combinations. Cheekwood will be onsite to take school pictures, so be sure you have your picture envelope with payment. The seniors and faculty will host a luncheon for the freshmen. Everyone will participate in a computer workshop to set up their Notre Dame email & portal system. Dismissal will be at 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday, August 24
Wednesday will be a freshman retreat day. Lots of things are planned for the morning and will conclude with their first class Mass. School will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. No lunch will be provided.

Thursday, August 25
We welcome all students! Students can put money on their lunch accounts before homeroom in the cafeteria, or you can manage their account through www.payschoolscentral.com. You received an email about how to set up an account. Please refer to this page for more info. Dismissal will be at 2:00 p.m.

Friday, August 26
There will be an early dismissal at 2:00 p.m.

Friday evening with be the 35th annual Freshman-Senior Lock-In! Freshman students should be dropped off between 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the front parking lot. More information will be provided about Lock-In details during orientation days. There is a freshman parent meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Drury Hall to go over the significance of Lock-In and a run through of the night’s events. Students will need to be picked up at 5:00 a.m. from Lock-In by a parent or guardian.
