Physicals for Athletics / Physical Clinics in Drury Hall

A clinic for sports physicals for the 2023 – 2024 school year will be held on May 23 and May 24 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Drury Hall. The cost is $15. Boys and girls of junior high and high school age are welcome to come either date.

Due to changes in MSHSAA’s physical form procedures, there is no requirement to register on FamilyID. Notre Dame requires page five of the physical form (linked below) to be on file for all student athletes. All forms must be completed prior to entering the physical clinics and signed by both student and parent.

Notre Dame continues to require an updated yearly physical to be eligible to try out and participate in all sports programs. More information will be available about these MSHSAA changes in early August. Contact Coach Graviett at jeffgraviett@notredamecape.org or Laura Halter laurahalter@notredamecape.org with any questions or concerns.

The physical clinic is provided through the generous services of the physicians at Advanced Orthopedic Specialists.

Athletic “Dead Period” and Fall Sports Tryouts
July 30 through August 6 is athletic dead week. Per MSHSAA guidelines, students are not to utilize the school facilities including the track, outdoor fields, gym, or weight room and are to have no contact with coaches. Fall sport tryouts begin August 7. More information about fall tryouts will be released later this summer.

Senior photos for the yearbook will be taken by Cheekwood Studios at Notre Dame, on August 8, during senior book distribution day.

Boys will wear a black or navy suit coat, white dress shirt and a tie, and MUST be clean-shaven. Girls will wear a modest black shirt or dress. Girls may wear their choice of jewelry. No scarves will be allowed. Students may wear their own clothing or Cheekwood will provide proper attire. This photo in formal attire will also be the seniors’ school ID photo.
