Notre Dame Counselors' Corner
The Counselors’ Corner is dedicated area in the Counselors’ Office that gives students a space to take physical and mental breaks when needed. The space also doubles as a meeting area for students for educational services, Voc Rehab, parent meetings and more. The counselors also created a smaller version of the room on a mobile cart for teachers to utilize in the classroom for brain breaks.
988 Crisis Line
988 is now the national three-digit phone number for all mental health, substance use, and suicide crises. 988 calls will be routed to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline centers in each state, transitioning from the previous Lifeline number. 988 will offer rapid access to behavioral health support through connection with trained crisis specialists.
