Cooper Stewart

Cooper Stewart

Class: Senior

Hometown: Cape Girardeau

Cooper Stewart enjoys playing golf with friends or just playing golf in general, even though he is very inconsistent on the course. When golf season for ND rolls around, Cooper is always ready to play and loves being a part of the Bulldog team, as he has been on the varsity team for two years now. He also enjoys hanging out with friends on the weekends and plays on an Optimist basketball team in the winter months with these same friends. He also enjoys leisurely activities such as watching the New England Patriots football team and playing PS4 for several hours. Cooper loves listening to music, mostly rap with his favorite artists being Drake, Travis Scott, and Lil Baby, but he is open to all genres of music. For workouts, Cooper gets up and runs before school most mornings and everyday in the summer, although he is hoping to get a membership to Fitness Plus (Saint Francis) to “get big” but his Mom is opposed due to the cost.

Mia Timlin

Mia Timlin

Class: Senior

Hometown: Cape Girardeau

Mia has been a storyteller since she could string a sentence together and a writer since she learned how to pick up a pen. She’s gone through many phases of literary aspirations throughout her life, the journalistic one taking place at the age of ten, during which she lamented that the small Michigan town of 20,000 she lived in did not have enough crime to investigate and report on. Mia writes a column for The Best Years of The Southeast Missourian, and is a contributor and editor of the Rust Media project Here, a literary magazine for teens in the Southeast Missouri region. She’s impressively unathletic, but has somehow kept up a competitive and classical dancing career for over 15 years. When she’s not pushing off writing until the absolute last minute before the deadline, Mia is probably reading. Her 2021 Goodreads goal was 100 books, which she absolutely didn’t meet. She will spend most of her free time this year working towards her 2022 goal, which is another ill-fated 100 books. Mia plans to get a  bachelor’s degrees in Creative Writing and Political Science, and eventually find a job where someone will pay her to write something—she’s not picky.

Charlie West

Charlie West

He enjoys listening to Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden while working out. He fancies spending time with family and friends by socializing and playing games such as ping pong. Charlie hopes to graduate with a high GPA and continue to work to improve himself.
