National Library Week is April 7-13 and our Friends of the Library Club has a great week planned to celebrate and highlight the valuable role libraries plan in our lives!
Monday | Students will have the opportunity to make “Black-Out Poetry” to celebrate National Poetry Month (which is April), and also to celebrate the brief moment of “black-out” during the totality of the eclipse that day.
Tuesday | Students may read provided children’s literature in the library.
Wednesday | Students may play provided children’s games/board games.
Thursday | Students can make their own books/journals to take home.
Friday | Contest winners will be announced
In addition, throughout the week we will be sharing a community coloring project. Other fun activities will be available like guessing the favorite books of teachers and staff, guessing the topics in a game of “Book Connections” and more.
Be sure to stop by the library this week to join in the fun!
