Director of Advancement

The director of advancement is responsible for Notre Dame Regional High School fundraising efforts and community engagement. The director of advancement works with the president to cultivate major gifts and organize capital campaign efforts. Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop major gift and planned gift strategies.
  • Develop and execute an annual fund program each fiscal year
  • Organize and oversee focused fundraising initiatives including special events
  • Maintain and develop a comprehensive database of benefactors
  • Develop donor, corporate and Foundation relations programs to maintain connection and communication with key sources of investment in the school.
  • Represent Notre Dame Regional High School in community and business organizations.

The position is a full-time, full-year position, which includes a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, and retirement. School Accountant

Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau is seeking applications for an accountant. General responsibilities include:

  • Perform duties to coordinate, document and process payroll
  • Responsible for the financial administration, compliance and reporting for all grants
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks (or similar financial software)
  • Responsible for accounts payable and receivable (including tuition)
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Oversee the finances of fundraising events
  • Assist with strategic planning
  • Maintain effective internal controls
  • Present a positive image when communicating with staff 
  • Properly handle all confidential matters

Notre Dame is a Roman Catholic school in the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, so preference would be given to practicing Catholics. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience required; school finance experience preferred. Mathematics Teacher

Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau is seeking applications for a Mathematics teaching position for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. We are looking for a committed individual that can teach upper level Mathematics. Notre Dame is a Roman Catholic school in the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, so preference would be given to practicing Catholics. A Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education (Mathematics) and appropriate Master’s degree preferred.
