PEER HELPERS

PURPOSE:  To help Freshmen and new students adjust to Notre Dame; to promote unity and respect; to help other students as needed.

FACULTY SPONSOR:  Mrs. Meg Garner and Mrs. Amanda Mueth

MEMBERSHIP:  Open to juniors and seniors who have a desire to help others. Students should complete an application, receive teacher recommendations and complete Peer Helper training.

MEETINGS: Before school once a week and as necessary.

PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES:  Freshman Groups activity; classroom activities on study skills and tutoring; Creative ideas for projects are generated by the group.
