GRANT EUDY AND JOHN MCLAIN
National Merit Scholarship Finalists

 

 

THIS IS A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT. They are two of 16,000 students in the United States who have received this honor and two of 1.5 million who took the PSAT, the test that determines this award.

Both Grant and John are excellent students and work very hard to acheive their grades.  They bring honor to their families and to us here at Notre Dame.

Notre Dame is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a population of approx. 36,000. Notre Dame Regional High School endeavors to foster and build upon the teaching mission of Jesus Christ. Our school offers a disciplined environment which rewards excellence in scholarship, leadership, and Christian service. The Notre Dame faculty is comprised of over 40 clergy, religious, lay men, and women who are fully certified. The faculty also has an average of 15.5 years of teaching experience, and more than 50% possess advanced degrees within their fields. Generally, 95% of our graduates attend college after graduation. Over the last 5 years, approximately 90% attended 4-year institutions and 5 % attended 2-year schools of higher learning. In the class of 2007, 93% attended a 4-year college, 4% attended a 2-year college, 3% entered the work force, and 0% entered the military service.
